Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Sahiwal has the authority to conduct annual and supply SSC and HSSC exams in the districts of Sahiwal, Okara and Vehari. All the schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with BISE Sahiwal. Sahiwal Board conducts matric and intermediate level annual exams during the months of March/ April and May/ June respectively. Thousands of regular and private students appear in these annual exams of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class every year under Sahiwal Board.

All the schools and colleges under BISE Sahiwal starts the admission process for matric and intermediate classes couple of months before the start of new academic year. Academic year of SSC part 1 & 2 begins in April while new academic year for HSSC part 1 & 2 starts in September every year. The admission and registration process of students complete smoothly.

Matric and intermediate class students of BISE Sahiwal can take the model papers from the official site of the board while they can purchase the past papers from the market. Model papers inform the students about the latest paper pattern and examination syllabus of the board while past papers are helpful for them to find important questions for their exams.

Date sheets and roll number slips are issue by the Sahiwal Board two and one month before the start of the exams respectively. Date sheets tell the students about the examination schedule while roll number slips provide roll numbers of the candidates and important information about examinations. Date sheets are available online while roll number slips are sent to the addresses of the students. After two or three months of the SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 exams, Sahiwal Board declares the results for the students which are uploaded at the official site of the board soon after the result announcement while result cards are mailed to the mentioned addresses of the students.
